In my life right now it's just hard. I used to know who I was, where I was, what I wanted to be. I loved reading, I was often found with a novel in hand. I wrote in my notebooks about animals. I frequently drew dogs and other animals, or mythical creatures like dragons. I loved going outside: biking, walking, swimming, tobogganing. I knew that I wanted to be a veterinarian. I was always top of the class in every subject.
Now I don't know. I still adore reading, but I only do in the little spare time I have on the bus or before bed. I still draw, but I only draw characters from the novels that I am writing. I still write, but I can never finish anything... and all of my novels have the aspect of love in them. It's troubling for me. I rarely can be found outside: I spend all day on chat boxes or writing on the computer. I've even started not caring about my homework. I also have a crush, but it's... like, I love him, then I hate him, a cycle over and over...
Please help me. Do you have any advice to help me get over this difficult time?Do you have any advice for teens going through tough times?
I am 14. I am a Christian. I ain't gonna shove nothin' down yer throat or nothing. God has always been what has gotten me through. I used to be suicidal and take pills and things like that.
Thiers an old country folk song that goes ';Keep on the sunnyside, always on the sunnyside, on the sunnyside of life. It will help us everyday, it will brighten us all the way. If we keep on the sunnyside of life.';Do you have any advice for teens going through tough times?
go outside! it doesnt have to be sports if thats not ur things. do what you do inside, outside! if you like writing and reading, then grab a book and a paper/pencil, and go to that outside. bring a friend to go with to, like to the park.
hope this helps! =)
