When pregnant teens ask for advice on what to do, how come a whole lot of people give them a lecture instead?

I've seen plenty of questions asked by pregnant teens who are barely even in high school yet, asking desperately for help and advice. But instead most of the answers are insensitive people telling them off. I think that it is pretty obvious that they know what they did was wrong and that they feel bad enough already, don't you? This is Y!A not Y!L. Is anyone else kind of peeved off by this besides me? or am I just weird that way?

well heres another point of view for you...youve been trying to conceive for 2 years and you come across a dumb 15 year old thats pregnant asking if she should abort it...in the TryingToConceive section. that annoys me...
People are entitled to their own opinion and often abuse it-it ticks me off as well. In my eyes, asking for advice means you already know what to do, but just need a second opinion to make sure. People need to be a little more receptive when people share personal info on yahoo answers and just think of what they would do in that kind of situation. They will learn the hard way on their own unfortunately and don't need others to keep reminding them of it.

People are often short tempered with people they don't know, im sure if their 15 year old cousin came to them asking for advice about being pregnant they would not give a big lecture and basically yell buy a pregnancy test. they would comfort them. i think in this section (teens/preteens) there are just so many people faking being pregnant, and its obvious, that when someone is genuinely concerned they just get told off because people see the questions so often. what people have to remember is that, this is the PREGNANCY and parenting section. whether they like it or not.








im a pregnant teen, and didn't get any lectures about it, but then i didn't come here asking what i should do, i made up my own mind that i was going to care for my child. i think that people are a lot more tolerant with people who seem to have a good head on their shoulders.
i know what you mean , thats why when i found out i was pregnant , i didn't bother asking for advise on here . people are too judge mental (especially teens)

I go through and try and find those questions and give the girls some advice.


Like okay, maybe they made a mistake but their scared and need help.


They dont need a lecture.





I'm sixteen and i just recently had a miscarriage. and i asked some questions on here too.


I just asked in the pregnancy section and didnt say my age cause then i got nasty comments about that.


But the people in the pregnancy section arent much better.


I like the TTC section for pregnancy questions cause they tend to be a lot nicer to you
